Why I am passionate about treating patients with hypothyroidism.
I enjoy the challenge! Patients with hypothyroidism have unique and sometimes complicated circumstances. Thyroid disease can be tricky because the symptoms often overlap with common conditions of a different etiology. This can be frustrating. Taking the time to listen and being open to explore different paths of origin has been most helpful. In taking this approach, I find I often learn right along with my patients.
My approach to treating hypothyroidism is...
I believe in a holistic and balanced approach to care in order to find the solution that works best. The goal is to optimize health and wellbeing as much as possible.
